About Me

Back in 2007, I decided to alter my career path quite dramatically and embarked on this creative journey. After completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Science Communication and Natural History Storytelling, I was fortunate enough to be given an internship at Natural History New Zealand (NHNZ). Starting out as a story-post producer and graduating to become an editor, I worked on shows for the likes of National Geographic, Discovery and A & E. However, not content to spend my days locked up in a windowless edit suite, I figured that the only way I was going to get up close and personal with the subjects that I was staring at on-screen, was to get a job in the field. Backing my camera-directing skills, I have been very lucky to travel the globe shooting and telling stories in some amazing locations. When I wasn't contracted to broadcast television shows, I continued to shoot, script and edit films for local businesses, start-ups and passion projects. I own a comprehensive camera and audio kit that gives me the flexibility to drop everything at a moments notice, pack up the car or some flight cases and head off on the next adventure.
